Sherry Prescott-Willis is passionate about
helping people become better marketers. She is
especially interested in helping early and mid-stage
companies to develop effective marketing strategies
and tactics that work. With an innovative approach,
she has a keen eye for developing marketing programs
that impact the customer and drive a company’s
revenues. Sherry has over 18 years of
marketing experience specializing in both consumer
and high technology products. She has a
track record of developing successful marketing
programs that create results through strategic
marketing plans and activities.
Sherry has held analyst, product
marketing and senior management positions at
companies such as Brocade Communications, Computer
Associates, L’Oreal, and Pfizer in addition to
several Silicon Valley start-ups. In 2000, Sherry
founded Prescott Marketing: an independent
consulting firm focused on start-up and early-stage
companies needing strategic and product marketing
program development. Past clients have included
products in networking, storage, wireless software,
education software, spa and wellness, security,
healthcare, human resource management and content
management software.
Sherry is a native of Northern
California and lives with her husband and two
children in the San Francisco Bay Area. For the past
five years, Sherry has been an active volunteer and
Board of Directors member of Women In Consulting
(WIC), most recently serving as WIC Vice President
from 2005-2007. Sherry has a BA in English from UC
Berkeley and an MBA from the University of San
Francisco, Masagung Graduate School of Business.
